Model: Sterile MCE Membranes

Overview

GVS MCE (Mixed Cellulose Esters) Membrane Filters are unsupported, hydrophilic microporous membranes. Their excellent high flow rates and high throughput have made them a standard choice for microbiological testing, particularly for bioburden and sterility testing applications.

What’s Special

Hydrophilic membrane material: Suitable for direct filtration of aqueous samples.
Unsupported membrane design:
Facilitates efficient microbial retention and growth.
High flow rate and throughput:
Reduces filtration time and improves laboratory efficiency.
✔ Excellent microbial recovery and culture performance: Ensures reliable microbiological testing results.
✔ Compatible with membrane filtration (MF) methods: Ideal for microbiological analysis and quality control applications.

FeatureFor quality assurance testing in food and beverage analysis
For the recovery and retention of E. Coli bacteria in water analysis
Benefit. The black background enhances visibility of light-colored colonies, improving observation performance.
.No additional staining is required for clear microbial identification.
.Provides strong contrast for white or transparent colonies, enabling early and accurate detection.
.Black grid lines provide clear contrast for easy colony observation and counting.
.Suitable for routine microbiological testing applications.
.Improves accuracy of colony identification and increases workflow efficiency.
ApplicationsBottled drinking water analysis
Carbonated beverage testing
Beer quality analysis
Wine microbiological testing
Drinking water testing
Wastewater analysis
Medical diagnostics / clinical testing
General microbiological testing in laboratories
* All membranes comply with membrane filtration microbiological testing requirements, improving colony visibility and counting accuracy. They are well suited for sterility testing and bioburden testing.
* The membranes combine high microbial recovery efficiency, excellent culture performance, and superior colony differentiation, making them an essential tool for microbiological quality control and regulatory testing.
* Widely used in QC/QA laboratories within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries.
