Overview

GVS SEPARA^® Filter Vial is a one-step sample preparation device that allows a quick, effective, and simple to use process integrating a self-sampling system, membrane, cap, and lid with precut septa. The liquid is placed in the outer vial and dispensed by pressing the inner insert so that it is pushed through the membrane. The sample is then filtered and Separa® is ready to be loaded into the autosampler.

．The Toggler is maintenance free unit without replacement part.
．In case of sample spillage during compression, user to follow the own standard
operating procedures to dispose of spills samples and contaminated parts.
．Before starting, select the SEPARA filter vial compatible with your sample.

Safety Waring:
1. Do not put the hand between piston and plastic tray.
2. Do not overfill the plastic external vial.
3. Do not use the Multi Vial Compressor for assemble glass vials.
4. Do not use vials with different shape and dimension from GVS.

Cleaning Instructions:
Toggler and Plate can be cleaned with ethanol 90%., also go in autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.

Operation

Load up to 12 external vials in vial holder plate.	Dispense sample into the external vial taking care not to overfill.	After selecting the compatible SEPARA filtration membrane for your samples, insert the plunger.	Place the plate into position on the toggler using the guide ribs for placement.	Slowly turn the lever until the end of the stroke.	Release the lever back to original position.	Remove filter vials.
