Japan Musashi Engineering Inc. has developed a patented SynchroSpeed® function (SS function), which automatically resolves long-standing issues in bead dispensing processes, such as uneven dispensing volume and inconsistent line width caused by fluctuations in drawing speed.
Without the need for fine adjustments to dispensing conditions, consistent quality can be achieved, while also improving production efficiency.
What is the SynchroSpeed® function (PAT.)?
The SS function automatically optimizes the dispenser’s discharge parameters in response to changes in the robot’s drawing speed.
Normally, when drawing speed increases, the coating becomes thinner, and when speed decreases, the coating becomes thicker.
However, with the SS function, the robot and dispenser are synchronized, keeping line width constant even when drawing speed fluctuates. This prevents coating defects at corners or start/end points and ensures high-quality dispensing.
In addition, even when drawing speed is increased, coating shapes remain stable, enabling easy reduction of cycle time.
